Omega Speedmaster MK40 3520.53.00 - Full Set Box and Papers
For sale is an exceptional example of the iconic Omega Speedmaster, the MK40 Reference 3520.53.00. It's truly rare to find an automatic chronograph with a triple date function... combine this with the iconic Speedmaster and this really is a fantastic watch.
This watch comes with it's original warranty papers, instruction manuals, presentation case, and outer box.
We have an optional/additional Omega leather strap and buckle that you can see in some of the photos (we think it looks great on on the black leather strap).
You will already know this watch is the personal favorite of Benjamin Clymer, the founder of Hodinkee (being the watch that inspired him to start the site). This watch was purchased from the Hodinkee strore in the past year and has the remainder of the warranty available - proof of purchase available (for quite a bit more than being listed here... get the watch you wanted from their site for less money here).

Watch: The timepiece is in excellent pre-owned condition. The crystal is scratch free, as is the tachymetre bezel. The watch has never been polished and retains sharp lines and lugs. Almost no wear to the case or strap having been predominantly a collected (rather than worn) item. Light scratch marks on back of lugs from previous strap changes (not visible when wearing)
Box: Included is the original red leather Omega box, which has shown some signs of deterioration, characteristic of the red leather cases of this time period (google it - it's a thing). Some internal parts of the box have been colored by this instruction and warranty card holder being kept inside the case.
Papers: Original documentation is intact and included with the sale.
